Our Commitment
Botanica Gin runs a standing commitment to donate 1% of net sales back into the art communities where it’s sold. Through the Local Canvas Fund, each state’s sales directly support artist residencies, local galleries, art educators, and artists. It’s a simple, permanent structure built around the idea that Botanica exists as a thank you to the people who keep our creative communities running, and this is a small way in which we return some of our admiration. ANNUAL DONATIONS
Recipient organizations are selected annually through an internal review process that evaluates mission alignment, community impact, and verified support local creative communities. Each year, eligible organizations within the states where sales occur are carefully considered to ensure funds are directed toward meaningful, local initiatives that reflect the values of the Shift After The Shift Fund and the communities it serves.
WHERE
Botanica Gin’s donation commitment operates on a state-by-state allocation model, ensuring funds are reinvested directly into the communities where sales are generated. Rather than pooling donations nationally, each state’s contribution is calculated and distributed independently.
WHO
Funds may be distributed to legally recognized nonprofit organizations, relief funds, foundations, and official associations operating within the same state where sales were generated. Eligible recipients must directly support artists and the arts.
